A Halloween Nightmare?

Well it’s ‘All Hallows Eve’ and all is well……so far!!

I’ve just arrived at work and I am waiting for the day shift to return with our ambulance, so thought I would say a quick hello as it is unlikely that I will get the chance later on.

It’s not just the fact that it’s Halloween and many will people will be out partaking of a certain alcoholic beverage, but it’s also Saturday night, and a full moon!

Joy oh joy its going to be a busy one!

The thing is, I was meant to be off today anyway, but decided to come in to work so that Mrs999 would be able to take the kids to a Halloween party (that she really wanted to go to). So me, being me, I said that I would work for her.

However, in return for the beasting that I am likely to get tonight, I thought I would share a photo of her just as she was on the way out to the party.

I told her that it was fancy dress and she had to get dressed up, but she said she didn’t want to draw attention to herself, so just went as normal (muuuuu haaaa haaa haaaa!)

The Wife! - Looking stunning, as always!

Anyways, if you are out and about tonight, have a good night and stay safe!. If you are at work in EMS somewhere, let me know how your night went!

Take care and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

  1. I am currently hiding from my Scheduling Clerk because I don't want to work OT on Halloween Night, while people are partaking in alcoholic beverages, on a Saturday night during the full moon!

  3. Not working tonight, but last time I worked halloween night shift I had someone step out infront of me at a set of pedestrain lights, I stopped in good time as was in a town full of drunks so was expecting the unexpected. I did however wander what woul have happened if I'd run over the person. After all it was the Grim Reaper. That would be seriously bad Karma!

  4. I hope all of your shifts aren't too bad in the sense that the nonsense calls (i.e. drunkards) don't overwhelm the genuine need for emergency medical attention.Hope it isn't too stressful either!Mark (or Medic999, whatever you prefer), let us know how you got on!
